Chaos of life and seeds of the new

Chaos of life and seeds of the new

Chaos des Lebens - Christina Felicitas Teibert - 2024, 30x30 cm, Acryl auf Leinwand - all picture rights reserved

We all know these times in our lives, where step by step all aspects of our lives implode in chaos. Family falls apart, friends disappear, we get fired or decide to leave our employment, financial uncertainty increases, or we feel the urge to leave our current place of living. Sometimes all of these aspects come together, and then we understand that chaos takes over and vanishes our so-called “certainties and stability”.

In the beginning, we do not want this process to continue, we try to hold on to the past, with all the energy we have. But the chaos is stronger, grows bigger, health issues might occur and everything gets even worse.

Then, at one point, we just give up. Without energy left to fight the chaos any longer, we are accepting the current situation and starting to appreciate the winds of change.

Accepting chaos is important. By doing so, we are sowing new seeds and new orders, new flowers, new love and relationships, new job opportunities and better health. Only now new experiences and peace might enter our lives.

Everyone reading this and going through a chaos phase in their lives right now is assured that everything happens for you! New growth, more love and peace will enter your life!

temporary destroyed painting, after varnishing

I finished this painting and used a final varnish I had already used several times before. But this time, the acrylic-based final varnish loosened the colors of the painting, especially the black lines… By using the final varnish, I destroyed the painting, temporarily.

Being an artist is not always easy and to rescue the painting I needed to decide quickly to wash out the varnish under running water in my bathroom sink. By doing this, the black lines get lost in a great part and some other colors partially too. After the first shock and displeasure, I accepted the situation and decided to love this painting even more.

To be honest, I didn't love the painting very much before, but after this happening I understood that the theme of the painting, “chaos”, is inextricably linked with it and, therefore, everything in the painting is perfect and right.

Three days later and about 7 hours of work put into it, the painting was finished again. “New seeds” with slightly different colors and lines were sowed. By doing this painting twice, I learned to accept that not everything is always under my control and that sometimes the beauty of life is accepting the chaos and the changes that come with it!
